Who I work with

Kurdish, Farsi and Dari interpreting and translation for solicitors

Clear, impartial interpreting for meetings with your client, and accurate translation of the documents and evidence a case depends on. I am a native speaker of Kurdish (Sorani) and Farsi, also work in Dari, and am bound by the CIOL Code of Professional Conduct.

Client meetings and conferences

In your office, at your client’s home or on video, interpreting everything that is said in both directions, without adding or leaving anything out.

Witness statements

Interpreting while you take instructions, then reading the finished statement back to your client in their own language before they sign it.

Documents and evidence

Certified translations of certificates, letters, contracts, reports and court papers, with every stamp and handwritten note accounted for.

Messages and recordings

Transcription and translation of voice notes, call recordings and WhatsApp or Telegram messages, with timings where they help.

Sight translation

Reading a document aloud in the other language during a meeting, when you need the gist or a detail straight away.

Names, dates and places

Consistent spellings of names and places, and Solar Hijri dates converted exactly, so the documents match across the whole bundle.

Working together

  • Send the date, time, address or video link, expected length and the type of meeting.
  • Tell me whether your client speaks Sorani Kurdish, Farsi or Dari. If they speak Kurmanji, I will tell you honestly that you need a Kurmanji interpreter.
  • Everything is confidential under the CIOL Code of Professional Conduct, and I am happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
  • Invoices can go to your firm, with your file reference.
