You do not need to post me your original documents to get a quote. Clear photos or scans are usually enough, as long as every word, number and stamp can be read. A little care at this stage saves questions later.

Taking good photos or scans

  • Lay each page flat in good light, with no shadows, glare or fingers over the text.
  • Include every page and both sides, even if a side looks empty.
  • Keep the whole page in the frame, so stamps, signatures and notes in the margins are visible.
  • A scan or PDF is ideal, but a sharp phone photo usually works well.

Sending photos on WhatsApp

WhatsApp compresses photos sent the normal way, which can make small print and stamps hard to read. To keep full quality, send them as a document instead:

  1. Open our chat and tap the attach button (the paperclip or plus sign).
  2. Choose Document, not Photos or Gallery.
  3. Select your photos or PDF files and send them.

What to tell me

  • What the translation is for, and which organisation asked for it
  • When you need it by
  • Your name exactly as it is spelled in your passport, and the spellings of other names in the document, such as your parents’, if you know them
  • Whether you need a PDF, printed copies by post, or both
  • Anything extra the organisation has asked for, such as notarisation or an apostille

I will then reply with a clear quote before any work starts. Everything you send is kept confidential.
